Our Holy Spirit speaks:
Wouldn't it be something if God went on strike? No more miraculous healings. No love in the world. No joy. No inspiration. No movement toward incredible new innovations and earth-enlightening achievements.
Hmmm, sounds a lot like life under socialism. But God doesn't go on strike. So sometimes people must go on strike against God. Like socialist city government trying to run their own buses rather than letting private companies provide transportation far more efficient and less expensive. Like union leaders closing off the labor market to highly diligent workers who would love to be able to work and who would demand much less from their employer.
The transit strike contains lessons for New Yorkers to learn. Will they pay attention?
