Christmas now at Target and Sears; Still anti-Christmas: Office Max, Kmart, Staples, Home Depot, Best Buy, Kohl's, BJ's, Costco, Office Depot, others

Our Holy Spirit speaks:

Hoping to set Christmas sales records while not recognizing Christmas is simply dishonesty. You have every right to boycott dishonest companies.

A more important question is: why are they choosing to not recognize Christmas?

If they are doing it to avoid offending someone, they are going beyond dishonesty and depriving people of one of the great lessons of life: learning to choose not to feel offended.

Choosing to feel offended is a mistaken choice. It is a choice to suffer rather than be happy. It is a choice to feel victimized rather than recognize reality. America was once a country of spiritually heroic people who spoke the truth: "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but names can never hurt me!" Do not belittle your country by catering to those who would "protect" people from learning not to be offended.

Then why are you offended if they don't recognize Christmas?

Are Christian of so little faith that this is a crisis to them? In this season of goodwill, do Americans have to fight about whether holiday or Chirtmas shall be displayed? Is this Christ spirit working among us? I am puzzled that so-called Christians are outraged at an apparent slight towards a Christian holiday...what of Chanukah or any other beliefs that coincide during this time of year. I am amazed that Christian believe God is offended at this or its some kind of threat. If Christmas became a holiday is it any less sacred to those that trully believe? Does anybody read the Scriptures anymore or is it just handed to you by Fox News or some right wing pundits that get off on causing controversy. Christ is beyond this petty issue man has created. Anyone bothered by this so called Anti-Christmas movement should first search your soul mind and soul for the truth. Search the Scriptures for solace and have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays
