At least in its original form C. S. Lewis created an allegory about your spiritual opening and a metaphor that declares Jesus Christ is the savior of your world. Your intellectuals can deny truth all they want, but truth will always prevail because truth is all that is real.
Your intellectuals, worshippers of idols, and followers of false prophets have brought destruction and death to your world more often than can be imagined, yet the spirit of God in man goes on living. Therein lies your hope for peace everlasting.
