There is no reason at this time to expect Harriet Miers will be confirmed. She has never had "Supreme Court Justice" in her future resume. Heaven does not use your earthly concept of "predestination." From heaven's viewpoint, anything is possible. Miracles are yours for the asking. But nobody at this time, including Harriet Miers, is praying hard enough for this miracle. Prayer accompanied by total trust and "inner knowingness" works wonders. Prayer accompanied by doubt usually does not have enough effect to bring temptations into visibility.
