Dear ones, miracles minimize the need for time. On earth the recognition of everyone's equality appears to involve almost endless time. However, the miracle entails a sudden shift of perception, which means a shift to an entirely different state of mind. The perceiver of the miracle then emerges farther along in time. The miracle thus has the unique property of abolishing time to the extent that it renders unnecessary the interval of time it spans. There is no relationship between the time a miracle takes and the time it covers. The miracle substitutes for learning that might otherwise have taken many years.
