Our Holy Spirit answers:

Liberty demands the freedom to run a business and create jobs without government interference. There is very little liberty in France and therefore precious little equality and fraternity. Pray with all your heart the French government gives up its violations against the natural impulse of liberty so these rioting youths can begin to feel a sense of equality and fraternity.

Experiencing God

This day is holy, for it ushers in a new experience, a different kind of feeling and awareness. You have spent long days and nights in celebrating death. Today you learn to feel the joy of life.

The prayer of the heart does not really ask for concrete things. It always requests some kind of experience, the specific things asked for being the bringers of the desired experience in the opinion of the asker. The words, then, are symbols for the things asked for, but the things themselves but stand for the experiences that are hoped for.

A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary.
